First of all, thank you for your kind words. About your question, I can assure you, there's no smudge of ink...Once I stamped with distress ink, I use the small brush (it comes with the Ranger Perfect Pearls kit) to get some powder and I gently brush the image.You can see you get a very detailed image. Then, to fix the powder, I make two things: I pat lightly with the larger brush, and then I spray some water (just one spray) over the cardstock, putting the bottle 5-8 cm from it. You can use this technique over black or cream cardstok. Hope it helps!
Hi Gio and thank you for your reply - I really will try the Perfect Pearls over Distress ink, the effect you achieved was just so amazing, such wonderful detail and all so clear!! Must admit, I hardly every actually stamp with my Distress Inks - I do just about everything else with them tho lol!!!!
